Bigfoot is on a path of brutal revenge in the upcoming horror movie project Wildman, with the genre label Badlands picking up the script that’s described as John Wick… with Sasquatch.
The spec script was written by Jacob Rainer, and The Hollywood Reporter lets us know that the Scott Strauss-run label Badlands has picked it up with the intention of turning into a film.
Here’s the appropriately wild logline for Wildman…
“When his little brother is killed by hunters, Bigfoot goes on a quest to retrieve the body while killing everyone responsible along the way.”
Carson Reeves is attached to executive produce Wildman.
Badland is the genre arm of Thunder Road, and Thunder Road is fittingly the outfit behind John Wick. The first horror movie from the Badlands label is Crawlers, releasing this Halloween.
