Survival Thriller ‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ Now Available to Watch at Home

When it landed in theaters back in 2022, Scott Mann‘s Fall was a moderate success. Hitting theaters late in the summer, it wasn’t competing with mega blockbusters like Top Gun: Maverick, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, or Jurassic World: Dominion, and instead was a straightforward and modestly budgeted thriller. The stripped-down nature of the premise, along with its $3-million budget, made its $21.8 million box office feel all the more impressive.

Fall wasn’t just profitable in theaters, as it also earned traction when it landed on streaming. Understandably, the movie’s embrace of the audience’s innate fear of heights made for a compelling watch, to the point that it earned this year’s sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint. While the movie’s critical reactions weren’t as strong as its predecessor, the sequel successfully replicated the original’s formula, and with a reported $3-million budget, Fall 2 went on to score $24 million worldwide.

Just a month after it landed in theaters, Fall 2: Deadpoint is now available on Digital. The sequel is set to hit Blu-ray and DVD on November 7.

From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left two friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline. In Fall 2: Deadpoint, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.

Fall 2 stars Harriet Slater, Adam Rose, Tom Brittney, Arsema Thomas, and Jordan Coleman and was directed by The Spierig Brothers.

When news emerged that this sequel was moving forward, it also came with the report that a Fall 3 was in the works, which would bring back original director Scott Mann. While this recent sequel had some narrative connection to the original movie, it was largely its own standalone narrative. There are currently no details about what we could expect in a Fall 3 and how much it might connect to what came before it.

It’s worth noting, though, that while both installments have proven quite profitable, a significant portion of their box-office totals came from international markets. Whether or not the third entry could find a more significant impact domestically is yet to be seen.

Fall 2: Deadpoint is available on Digital now and hits Blu-ray and DVD on November 7.
