A week and a half ago, we posted a stunning recreation of Danish composer Amalie Bruun’s metal project Myrkur, where she took her own track “Onde Børn” and gave it an acoustic twist. Performed in a mausoleum, the song transformed from its black metal roots into an ethereal piece of majestic beauty. Equally haunting and heartrending, the cover proves the musical genius and ingenuity of Bruun, who sings with passion and emotion.

For this edition of Twisted Music Video of the Week, I wanted to bring back the original track so you can hear how major this transformation really is. Below is the video for the original “Onde Børn”, which shows Bruun running through a beautiful yet almost dangerous countryside, one where the elements are as harsh as they are striking.
You can pick up your copy of M via Bandcamp while Mausoluem can be snagged here.
