When it comes to mixing horror with synth, slasherwave artist GosT definitely stands amongst the elite. His unique blend of electronica with hard hitting, almost vicious horror elements creates a sound that is brutally unrelenting, one that demands your attention.
Today, we’re bringing you the music video premiere for the track “Arise”, which features vocals from Kriistal Ann, the 7th track from the upcoming album Non Paradisi. The video, which uses 16-bit animation styles created by Valenberg, essentially tells the story of Hell and its creation. This falls completely in line with the album’s theme, which is a loose take on John Milton’s epic poem “Paradise Lost”.
GosT tells BD, ““Arise” is a call to arms from the depths of the lake of fire. In the song, Lucifer beckons his fallen brethren through the voice of Kriistal Ann. For the video, Valenberg provided a beautiful visual landscape of color and triumph through which to pass this message.”
