Metro 2033 Screens

The video game industry loves post apocalyptic games. So how about another one? Metro 2033 for instance. It takes place in post apocalyptic Moscow. In the games fantasy world (I hope), in 2013 an apocalyptic event that basically destroys the world and most of the people in it. The earth is left as a poisonous wasteland. Few who survived stay as refugees underground. And the world slips into a new dark age.

20 years later in 2033 (like the title, so clever) a new generation has been born underground in the metro (also in the title! score!) stations, where they live, and struggle to survive. Rarely surfacing to meet the horrors above. Screens and more game info beyond the break. You play as Artyom (wow, what a cool name), who was born in the last days before the fire (I’m assuming the event that destroyed humanity), but raised Underground. Having never ventured beyond your Metro Station-City limits, one fateful event sparks a desperate mission to the heart of the Metro system (sound like Fallout 3?), to warn the remnants of mankind of a terrible impending threat (ok maybe not.). Your journey takes you from the forgotten catacombs beneath the subway to the desolate wastelands above, where your actions will determine the fate of mankind. Sorry for all the parenthesis.
