A quick announcement for any horror, sci-fi, fantasy, action or cult filmmakers out there. This is the final week to submit your short or feature film to the 2008 Toronto After Dark Film Festival. And if you’re looking to gain added exposure for your genre film it could be well worth your while taking a few minutes to enter. While this is only the third annual edition of the fest, Toronto After Dark has already established itself as one of North America’s leading genre cinema showcases. Over 6,500 cinemaniacs came out for last year’s week-long event and the festival and its films receive extensive media coverage. This year’s Toronto After Dark expands to 8 nights of cinematic mayhem, Oct. 17-24, 2008. But if you want to enter, you’ll have to hurry.
