Image Entertainment has bought North American rights to Bertrand Tavernier’s serial killer thriller IN THE ELECTRIC MIST starring Tommy Lee Jones. Based on James Lee Burke’s novel, Jones plays a detective (Dave Robicheau) in the deep South who is led into a series of surreal encounters with a troop of Confederate soldiers. Ned Beatty, John Goodman, Mary Steenburgen and Peter Sarsgaard co-star. Image will release it the spring.
