After a sold out screening at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival, Aint it Cool News hosted a special free screening of Michael Dougherty’s long-delayed horror anthology, Trick ‘r Treat, which has received nothing but rave reviews since the screening (read our review). This evening, AICN posted literally dozens of reviews from fans who attended the screening last month, you can read ’em all here. Warner Bros. Pictures owns the rights to the film and has yet to announce the film’s release. Will it hit theaters or go straight to video? Only time will tell, but I think it’s safe to say that WB should be red in the face at this very moment. Fingers crossed this lights a fire under someone’s ass.
