Greg Cannom Joins ‘Dead of Night’
How many of you have seen Cemetery Man, aka Dellamorte Dellamore? If you haven’t, you should. And if you have, you’ll be happy to know that Dead Of Night, based on the same Dylan Dog comics that were a large inspiration for Dellamorte, has finally begun production in New Orleans. Gilbert Adler (Demon Knight) has come on board to produce. Greg Cannom, who just won an Oscar for Benjamin Button, but is better known to horror fans for his incredible (and also Oscar winning) makeup on 1992’s Bram Stoker’s Dracula, has also joined the production, which stars Brandon Routh. Read on for a few more details…
Producer Gilbert Adler is sinking his teeth into the horror film “Dead of Night,” which starts production today in New Orleans. And DRAC Studios, whose creative director, Greg Cannom, won the makeup Oscar for “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” has come on to handle makeup effects.
Hyde Park Group and Platinum Studios are producing the vampire/werewolf/zombie flick that stars Brandon Routh.
Adapted from the top-selling 1986 Italian comic book series “Dylan Dog,” created by Tiziano Sclavi, “Dead” stars Routh as a private investigator who stumbles onto the world of the undead. Kevin Munroe (“TMNT”) is directing a screenplay by Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly (“Sahara,” “Conan the Barbarian”), who moved the action from the U.K. to the deep bayou of Louisiana.

‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ – New Poster Promises Brand New Trailer Tomorrow
The Fall franchise heads to a new location with new characters in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint, and a brand new official poster has been unleashed this morning.
Additionally, a new Fall 2 trailer is promised for tomorrow. Stay tuned.
Releasing in theaters on September 2, 2026, horror sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint is rated PG-13 for “strong language, some violent content/bloody images and drug material.”
Harriet Slater (Tarot) stars in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint alongside Arsema Thomas (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).
Michael & Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct Fall 2: Deadpoint from a script by Fall writers Scott Mann (who also directed the original) and Jonathan Frank.
From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline.
In Fall 2: Deadpoint, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.
Overwhelmed by her sister Hunter’s death, Jax (Slater) connects with Luce (Thomas), Hunter’s fearless friend. To heal, they attempt the infamous plank walk of Mount Kwan in Thailand.
After a sudden rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile plank 3000 feet in the air, Jax must confront her deepest fears and fight for survival to find closure.
Fall 3 has already been greenlit, with Mann returning to the director’s chair. The first Fall was a surprise hit in theaters, scaring up $18 million at the worldwide box office back in 2022.
