TIFF ’09: ‘Survival of the Dead’ Gallery Updated, New Video

With the premiere only weeks away, the official George A. Romero MySpace has uploaded a new behind-the-scenes video for Survival of the Dead that features star Alan Van Sprang as Sarge. In addition, we got our hands on a bunch of new images, all that can be found by reading beyond the break. The film is set to premiere at the Midnight Madness portion of TIFF in September.

‘The Robots Go Crazy’ – Radio Silence Directing Action Comedy for Amazon MGM Studios

Fresh off the last two Scream movies and this year’s Abigail, the filmmaking trio known as Radio Silence is next setting their sights on a project titled The Robots Go Crazy.

Deadline reports that the action-comedy package has landed at Amazon MGM Studios, with Radio Silence directing the film and Andy Samberg (Palm Springs) starring.

Deadline notes, “Plot details are unknown other then it being described as an action comedy.”

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will be directing for Radio Silence.

Andrew Lanham is writing the screenplay and will also executive produce.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett will produce with Andy Samberg and Ali Bell via The Lonely Island’s banner Party Over Here, along with Radio Silence’s Chad Villella, and Silk Mass’s Jon Silk. Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone will also produce for Party Over Here.
