Eli Roth on the Past, Present and Future of ‘Cabin Fever’
In Eli Roth’s groundbreaking 2003 horror film Cabin Fever, a group of five college graduates rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals. Arriving on Blu-ray today is a newly restored “Director’s Cut” release of the film, courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment. To celebrate the re-release, we caught up with Eli Roth to talk about the new cut, reflect back on the film and look forward to the future of his film career (there’s so much going on!). A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.
Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”
Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.
The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
