First Look at the Norwegian Research Camp from ‘The Thing’!

Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. is officially in Toronto filming exteriors for Universal Pictures’ The Thing, which stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton. With the announcement of the massive casting of authentic Norwegian, below you’ll find the first ever behind-the-scenes pic that features the Norwegian research camp where the action takes place! The quasi-remake of John Carpenter’s ’82 film and the 1951 The Thing from Another World, in a remote Antarctica outpost, an alien spaceship is discovered far beneath the ice. When a group of ambitious scientists decide to thaw out one of the creatures inside, they’re in for the terrifying fight of their lives.
