You gotta love the work ethic of Clint Eastwood. While most guys his age (80!) have retired, he’s still working steadily – this is his sixth film as a director in just over 4 years. And while most have been Oscar bait-y dramas or war stories, this is a rare trip for him into the supernatural/thriller genre. Hereafter stars Matt Damon as a guy who can communicate with the dead, and has tried to walk away from that part of his life, until a huge disaster threatens to pull him back in.
