Empire films has landed the official UK quad and first clip from Nicholas McCarthy’s Sundance spookfest, The Pact (review), the supernatural horror pic that stars Caity Lotz, Casper Van Dien and Agnes Bruckner.
Acquired by IFC for a U.S. release, EOne will creep it into UK cinemas June 8. The above poster take from Wes Craven’s classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, while the clip, embedded inside, displays a “supernatural struggle” reminiscent of The Entity.
In the film, “As a woman struggles to come to grips with her past in the wake of her mother’s death, an unsettling presence emerges in her childhood home.“
