Lionsgate Takes Back Halloween With ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D’

Lionsgate is taking back Halloween as they’ve locked in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D for release on October 5, 2012.

Starring genre favorite Bill Moseley, John Luessenhop will be directing the latest Leatherface offering that will be a direct sequel to Tobe Hooper’s classic 1974 film. It’s said to follow the lead character, Heather, who along with her friends, travel to Texas in order to collect an inheritance. The spin? Heather discovers that Leatherface is her cousin.
