Creature Clip from Original 1973 ‘Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark’
Arriving August 23 on DVD at the WB Shop from The Warner Archive Collection is an all-new special edition of the cult classic Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, which features a newly remastered version of the TV Movie of the Week classic with commentary including Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick.
“It’s back! The classic TV MOW that continues to cast a spell almost 40 years after it was first broadcast, evident by an upcoming remake by Guillermo Del Toro. Sally (Kim Darby) and Alex Farnham’s (Jim Hutton) marriage has a sinister wedge driven through it, when her occult “imaginings” threaten to derail his career after they inherit Sally’s grandmother’s house.” Also starring William Demarest.

A yoga influencer discovers just how flexible fear can be in Mind Body Spirit, a new found footage horror movie that Welcome Villain Films is bringing to the table in a couple weeks.
Mind Body Spirit will release on Digital outlets May 7.

“But what starts as a spiritual self-help guide evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life – and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit. By the time she reveals the true nature of the ritual, will it be too late?”
Mind Body Spirit was written and directed by Alex Henes & Matthew Merenda.
The upcoming horror film stars Sarah J. Bartholomew, Madi Bready, KJ Flahive, Anna Knigge, and Kristi Noory, and was produced by Dan Asma and Jesse McClung.
