Confined Space in ‘Y/N: You Lie, You Die’ Imagery
Seeking distribution at TIFF, below you’ll find the first batch of images from the Italian horror film from Enrico Clerico Nasino entitled Y/N: You Lie, You Die (aka True Love), which stars John Brotherton, Ellen Hollman (Skateland, Asylum, Road House 2), Gabriel Myers, Jay Harrington (Private Practice, Desperate Housewives, Anything But Here).
Penned by Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro, “On the surface, Kate and Jack, late 20s, are happy. But like everyone, they carry secrets that neither is prepared to reveal.
After their wedding, they awake from a deep, dark sleep, each alone in a sealed room with no doors or windows – only images projected on the walls and a monitor with two buttons: one for “yes”, one for “no”.
As the horror of their situation unfolds, surveillance films showing their life together appear on the wall, as the monitor asks questions, each more strange and terrifying than the last.
It soon becomes apparent that a bizarre test of their relationship is underway, and the secrets revealed lead them deeper and deeper into what could not just destroy their love, but threaten their very lives…”
A creature wreaks havoc upon a community in Hope, from writer-director Na Hong-jin (The Wailing), and the new poster gives a closer look at the snarling beast.
The Korean monster movie will be released in theaters in the United States by NEON on September 9.

Set in the remote South Korean village of Hope Harbor, police chief Bum-seok and officer Sung-ae are called to find a mysterious creature that has wreaked havoc on the village.
In the nearby forest, a coterie of hunters, including Sung- ki, set out to track the beast and find themselves hunted instead. But all is not as it seems, and perceptions can be misleading.
What begins as ignorance plants the seed of disaster, escalating through human conflict into a tragedy of cosmic proportions.
Hwang Jung-min (The Wailing), Zo In-sung (“Moving”), Hoyeon (“Squid Game”), Taylor Russell (Bones and All), Cameron Britton (“The Umbrella Academy”), Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina), and Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) star in Hope.
Hope had its World Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. The festival’s director, Thierry Fremaux, previously teased that Hope “constantly changes genres” to capture a story of “no part of history that’s ever been told before.”
