Multiplayer Kaiju Action Title ‘BeastLink’ Smashes Into Early Access on August 18 [Trailer]

Developer Grove Street Games has announced that their PvP action title BeastLink will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on August 18. The game will launch on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series once BeastLink exits Early Access.

“With BeastLink we are trying to do something very new,” explains the devteam. “There are three levels of gameplay asymmetry: on foot, in vehicles, and as a Beast kaiju. We’re finding a ton of interesting ways to make this really exciting, but we are in unexplored territory with this level of scale and destruction. We know it’s only possible to find the best experiences by involving the larger community as a true part of our development cycle.

Additionally, our studio is small and independent. We’ve invested a good portion of our lives to making the technology that makes this game possible. The Early Access release allows our small studio to remain independent while maintaining full creative control. Our goal is to have the best possible game at launch – which cannot be done without you, our community members, who will help us realize this vision and make the ultimate kaiju game.”

BeastLink sees the world in ruins, with humanity living in shattered strongholds, and colossal creatures ruling what’s left. Humanity’s survival depends on the very technology that ended everything. You must fight your way through war-torn urban cities, amass the coveted serum, and use it to Link with the dormant Kaiju to unleash the ultimate weapon. Ultimately, you must uncover the truth behind the world-ending outbreak, and the cost of keeping humanity alive.

Play as both human and the colossal creatures across multiple game modes, either solo or with other players. You’ll be able to deploy vehicles like cars, helicopters, tanks and aircrafts to unleash chaos. Thanks to the game’s proprietary “SuperDestruction” destruction system, everything can be destroyed.
