‘Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil’ Get Drawn Into A New Poster!

Published

on

I can’t believe I still haven’t seen Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil. It looks like a great time and I’ve been warming up to Alan Tudyk considerably (not that I ever really had anything against him). By all accounts from friends who’ve seen it, it’s good fun. And now veteran comic artist Tony Moore has created a great new one-sheet for it!

Per the film’s website it’s ” a hilariously gory, good-spirited horror comedy, doing for killer rednecks what Shaun of the Dead did for zombies. Tucker and Dale are two best friends on vacation at their dilapidated mountain house, who are mistaken for murderous backwoods hillbillies by a group of obnoxious, preppy college kids. When one of the students gets separated from her friends, the boys try to lend a hand, but as the misunderstanding grows, so does the body count”

Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil is on VOD right now and hits theaters on September 30th.

“FilmNation and Charades are presenting the project in Cannes,” Variety reports.

Golshifteh Farahani (The Patience Stone) and Tahar Rahim (“The Serpent”) will star.

Alpha is Julia’s most personal, profound work yet, and we are looking forward to a global audience discovering the story with as much excitement as we did,” FilmNation Entertainment and Charades said in a statement. “We can’t wait to bring the film to market in Cannes and to launch sales together for the first time and collaborate in this way.”

Alpha is a new page in Julia Ducournau’s corpus that is both very consistent with the previous ones and entirely new in its tone,” the producers said. “To match an exceptional project, it was necessary to transcend conventions, as evidenced by the exceptional combination of producers on one hand and international sales companies on the other.”
