‘The Last House On The Left’ Director To Build New ‘Home’ With Graham King And Appian Way

Screenwriter Adam Alleca and director Dennis Iliad, who collaborated on The Last House On The Left in 2009 have found their next project in Home. The filmmakers are reaming up with Graham King Films, Leonardo Dicaprio’s Appian Way and Paranormal Activity executive producer Steven Schneider on the project.

None of the issues I had with The Last House On The Left had anything to do with the actual talent behind the camera (I just found some of the morals were murky), I think it was a well made film and was certainly much more impressive than the bulk of horror remakes. So I’m definitely curious about what else Iliad and Alleca have up their sleeve.

Per Variety, “[the film] follows an unstable young man staying at his recently deceased father’s house. As odd phenomena begin to occur, he struggles to determine whether he’s having a nervous breakdown or his father is haunting him… Project was originally optioned in 2005 by Wes Craven through his and Marianne Maddalena’s Craven/Maddalena Films banner.
