Brian Kirk Making A ‘Midnight Delivery’ To Guillermo Del Toro!
Guillermo Del Toro is a man of many projects. And Midnight Delivery is one of them. While I’m not entirely sure the film is horror (the synopsis – “Pic follows a father who becomes a drug mule to save his son’s life” – is vague) but I wouldn’t put it past GDT to spice up the drug tale with some supernatural elements. And the man directing the pic will be Brian Kirk, a regular helmer of “Game Of Thrones”.
Per Variety, “Brian Kirk has been brought on to helm Universal’s thriller “Midnight Delivery,” with Guillermo del Toro producing. Neil Cross penned the script based on an idea by del Toro.
Production is planned for next year, after Cross turns in his latest draft.”

Scott Beck and Bryan Woods Directing High Concept Sci-fi Movie for Steven Spielberg
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the duo behind A Quiet Place and Heretic, are headed back into the science fiction arena for a brand new movie being produced by Steven Spielberg.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Beck and Woods will direct the untitled movie for Universal & Amblin, being described as a “high-concept” science fiction movie.
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods also wrote the original screenplay.
THR details, “Beck and Woods are longtime friends from Iowa who were propelled to mainstream success in 2018 thanks to their spec A Quiet Place, which Paramount bought and made into the hit film. Beck and Woods are coming off of the critical and commercial A24 hit Heretic. Before that, they helmed the sci-fi feature 65 starring Adam Driver for Sony.”
The duo wrote on Instagram last night, “This new project is thirty years in the making. Really proud to bring this story to life alongside Mr. Spielberg and our heroes at Amblin and Universal Pictures. Never a dull day working in the dream factory.”
“Hope to see you in theaters soon,” Beck and Woods added.
