Record-Breaking ‘Summer of Massacre’ Jam-Packed With CGI Blood?!

Published

on

What’s the point in doing something if you’re not going to do it right?

Arriving on DVD and Blu-ray January 10 from Breaking Glass Pictures and Vicious Circle is The Summer of Massacre, which sends viewers on a tour through the mind of madness, as multiple killers strive to create the biggest and bloodiest body count imaginable. Featuring eight killers in five carnage-drenched stories, The Summer of Massacre lives up to its name with the highest body count ever recorded in a film, verified by “The Guinness Book of World Records”.

That’s all cool and all, but the above trailer makes the gore look unwatchable. What say you?

The Summer of Massacre features include: Ungodly brutal beatings turn Chris into a fiend that sets off a bloody rampage, Beauty is truly only skin deep – Watch a young paraplegic fight for her life as her older, beautiful sister tries to murder her, It’s been 36 years since Jesse’s biological father raped his loving mother. Now, after hiding and running their entire lives, he has found them, A group of Christian teenagers are stalked, maimed and burned by a local legend in a haunted forest, and Three legendary serial killers terrorize downtown Los Angeles and their killer plan is to go out with a real bang.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences. With fiendish followers invading suburbia, it’s now up to the kids to discover the secret that can lock The Gate forever . . . if it’s not too late.

If you’ve never seen The Gate, it’s now streaming on Prime Video and Tubi.
