Michael Biehn’s ‘The Victim’ Dated For Home Video
You can take what you want from life or you can play The Victim. On September 18th, Anchor Bay Films unleashes the provocative and gritty grindhouse thriller The Victim, written, directed and starring 80’s horror/sci-fi icon and fan favorite Michael Biehn (The Terminator, Aliens, Tombstone).
Fans who like seeing their nail-biting suspense unfold on the big screen can enjoy The Victim in exclusive theatrical engagements at select theaters in New York starting August 24th and in Los Angeles starting September 7th.
“Good time girls Annie (Jennifer Blanc) and Mary (Danielle Harris) find themselves in a life and death situation. Annie’s life is put in jeopardy when she is witness to a violent act at the hands of two Sheriff’s Deputies (Ryan Honey, Denny Kirkwood). With her pursuers closing in, she stumbles across Kyle (Michael Biehn, Terminator, Aliens, The Rock), a recluse living in the middle of the woods. Bonus features on The Victim include feature-length audio commentary by writer/director Biehn and co-star/co-producer Jennifer Blanc, a making-of featurette, and the theatrical trailer.

Set in São Paulo, the film follows Clara, a lonely nurse from the outskirts of the city who is hired by mysterious and wealthy Ana to be the nanny of her soon to be born child. Against all odds, the two women develop a strong bond. But a fateful night marked by a full moon changes their plans.
Good Manners is the second collaboration between filmmakers Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra, who write and direct. Zama’s Rui Poças‘ cinematography captures this unique werewolf tale described as “Disney meets Jacques Tourneur.”
