Found Footage ‘Supernatural Activity’ Spoof Dated For Home Video

From the creators of Scary Movie comes the year’s most outrageous send-up of “found footage” films when the spoof Supernatural Activity debuts on DVD and Digital November 6th from Well Go USA Entertainment.

Joey Oglesby (TV’s “Friday Night Lights”), Donny Boaz (TV’s “Exposed”), Andrew Pozza (A Schizophrenic Love Story), Devin Bonnée (My Sucky Teen Romance) and Lizabeth Waters (Cherry Bomb) star as a team of myth-debunking ghost hunters on television who take off on their most frightening assignment just in time for the last episode of the season. Terrorized at every turn, this crack team of paranormal investigators film what might be their most terrifying footage yet.

The film combines comedy send-ups, inside jokes and classic sight gags from such popular movies as The Last Exorcism, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Cloverfield, The Blair Witch Project, and the Paranormal Activity series.

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones. Instead, they unearth The Gate — an underground chamber of terrifying demonic evil. The teenagers soon understand what evil they’ve released as they are overcome with an assortment of horrific experiences.
