A New ‘Predator’ Movie? Yes, Please!
Something is stalking San Diego right now, and it may possibly be a Predator.
While the Robert Rodriguez-produced and Nimrod Antal-directed 2010 Predators had the right intentions, they sort of messed up the characterizations by making the entire cast a group of criminals – it’s hard to sympathize with murderers. Still, the heart was in the right place, and the movie was pretty fun. I’d like to see more, so long as Predators stay away from Aliens completely…
This brings us to today, where the official Facebook for the aforementioned sequel was updated with something eyebrow raising. An image with the line, “Something is coming… #HuntthePredator.” The image teases a hunt, but what are we hunting?
The San Diego Comic-Con begins this Wednesday, and Rodriguez will be there to talk Machete Kills, and presumably Sin City 2, so will he and Twentieth Century Fox also announce the Predators follow up that he’s been talking about since 2010? Or will we see some sort of new game revealed (which would be odd considering E3 just ended). What do you think? What do you want?
Watch this spot for news the second it’s revealed. Bloody will be all over the Comic-Con, as usual.
