Film: Freddy Vs. Jason
Taking the reins for the highly entertaining clash of the horror titans, Revell delivered a score that took the feel of the film and amplified it. This resulted in a film that, in my opinion, was enormous amounts of fun and well worth every second.
Revell is a composer that has impacted many genre films, including Pitch Black, Spawn, The Crow, Child’s Play 2, Ghost In The Machine, Sin City, The Craft, From Dusk Till Dawn, Bride Of Chucky, and more.
Film: Friday The 13th (2009)
Jablonsky is one of Hollywood’s go-to composers these days, especially for the Platinum Dunes remakes. While some find the remake to be lacking, I have to say that I enjoyed every single second. It had the kills, the gore, and the atmosphere that worked perfectly in a Friday film.
Jablonsky has scored films such as the Transformers trilogy, The Hitcher, The Amityville Horror, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, A Nightmare On Elm Street, Gears Of War 2, Gears Of War 3, and has composed for the upcoming, highly anticipated Ender’s Game.
