[Exclusive] Here’s Your Halloween Playlist Courtesy Of Fearless Vampire Killers, William Control, And Davey Suicide
Happy Halloween! It’s the spookiest night of the year and we at Bloody-Disgusting couldn’t be happier to join the revelries of all you wonderful boils and ghouls! But in order to kick off the party, we’re gonna need some rockin’ tunes for the evening’s festivities. And that’s where we turn to the musical tastes of Fearless Vampire Killer, William Control, and Davey Suicide! Head on below as each band has put together their own playlist of song that are perfect for Halloween and then be sure to let us know in the comments which songs you’re going to be blasting tonight!
Michael Jackson – “Thriller”
Quite simply this is the quintessential spooky video. Probably the most famous of it’s kind and of course an amazing song. Not strictly Halloween when it was created though, which is the kind of vibe we went for with “All Hallows Evil”
Helloween – “Eagle Fly Free”
Look at the name! Helloween are a great band. Very reminiscent of Iron Maiden but in a good way and THIS is a great track,
Misfits – “Die Die My Darling”
Misfits are a spooky looking band and legends in our scene. We actually had the honour of supporting them in the UK this year too, their mic stands were made out of bones. Enough said? This particular song means a lot to us as we saw Aiden cover it when we supported them back in 2010. Since then us and WiL have gone on to be firm friends!
Oingo Boingo – “Dead Mans Party”
Oingo Boingo is one of composer extraordinaire “Danny Elfman”‘s side projects. Danny obviously composed and starred in Tim Burton’s “A Nightmare Before Christmas” which is very famously Halloween-esque.
Panic! At The Disco – “It’s Almost Halloween”
Quite simply a great Halloween single by a great band!!
Fearless Vampire Killers – “All Hallows Evil”
That’s us. Essential listening!!
Avenged Sevenfold – “Little Piece Of Heaven”
From their self titled album. Penned by the Rev himself in it’s entirety. This track is mental is a very cool and very scary way. It’s has no direct Halloween connection other than just sonically sounding perfect for this time of year!
Alice Cooper – “Welcome to My Nightmare”
The king of Halloween himself!! This track is one of his more fitting tunes for the time of year!!
Rocky Horror Picture Show – “I Can Make You A Man”
Although again not directly Halloween related everything about this soundtrack screams insanity!! Perfect for any discerning odd job.
Sonata Arctica – “Full Moon”
Speed metal from Finland! These guys have an amazing theatrical quality to their music and always manage to set a scene. This one is werewolf related! Scary,
Teen Idols – “Midnight Picture Show”
We recently toured with a band called “Super Happy Fun Club”. Quite ironically their drummer was a master of the dark arts and this is one of his favourite bands. He forced me to add it in!
Nightmare Before Christmas – “This is Halloween”
This is the Halloween song of my generation. Beautifully melodic, amazing film and perfectly captures the essence of Halloween!!
Ray Parker Jr. – “Ghostbusters”
No self respecting Goff could leave this out. It’s Ghostbusters for fuck sake! Classic film, it’s about ghosts. Simple ay?
Stephen Sondheim – “Sweeney Todd Original Soundtrack (Johnny Depp)”
Tim Burton’s interpretation of this musical was amazingly dark. I am also a massive Johnny Depp fan. He will be mine one day. You heard it here first.

Marilyn Manson – “Sweet Dreams”
I tend to picture a girl lying in her bed falling asleep and having Freddy Krueger straddling her in the dream. Sweet Dreams would be the score.
Michael Jackson – “Thriller”
Is there a more obvious Halloween song?
Rob Zombie – Living Dead Girl
Wes Craven’s The Last House on The Left will forever remind me of this song.
Boris Pickett – “Monster Mash”
Cheesy Horror songs are fitting
Nightmare Before Christmas – “This Is Halloween”
This is one of my favorite Halloween movies
Alice Cooper – “Feed My Frankenstein”
The original shock rocker has to be included on this list
Twilight Zone – “Main Theme”
What kid doesn’t want to take a visit to the Twilight Zone?
John Carpenter – “Halloween Theme”
This might be my favorite piano piece for Halloween.
Ray Parker Jr. – “Ghostbusters”
I want the stay puft marshmallow man to get blown up on my street
Faith No More – “Surprise! You’re Dead!”
I’ve always thought this should be in more slasher films

David Bowie – “Scary Monsters And Super Creeps”
Growing up in the suburbs of Seattle, Bowie was the first bizarre and androgynous artist that I was compelled to listen to, not only because his songs were amazing but because his general sense of style was so weird, I couldn’t take my eyes off him. What a strange kid I was.
Ozzy Osbourne – “Bark At The Moon”
It didn’t feature Randy Rhoads but is still an amazing song on a killer record.
Duran Duran – “Hungry Like The Wolf”
Big Hair, white suit jackets, 80’s reverb on the snare drum? Can it get any better than that?
Tom Waits – “Cemetery Polka”
“Uncle Bill/Will never leave a will/And the tumour is as/Big as an egg/He has a mistress/She’s a Puerto Rican/And I heard she has/A wooden leg.”
Need I say more?
Gerard McMann – “Cry Little Sister”
Great song from a great movie. it’s perfect for the halloween season.
Boris Pickett – “Monster Mash”
This was one of my favorite songs as a kid growing up even though it came out 20 years before I was born. It always reminds me that the leaves have turned orange and the winter is getting closer.
Nightmare Before Christmas – “This is Halloween”
Because who doesn’t like Tim Burton and the Nightmare before Christmas?
AC/DC – “Highway To Hell”
I used to have to listen to AC/DC with headphones as a kid because my mother hated them and didn’t allow their records played in the house. Typical christian nonsense.
Ray Parker Jr. – “Ghostbusters”
Definitely my favorite movie as a kid. I was always Peter Venkman and the ghosts that lived in my closet never stood a chance.
Warren Zevon – “Werewolves In London”
Perhaps I just love the classics.

Memory Loss Leads to a Hospital Freakout in ‘This Tempting Madness’ Exclusive Clip
A hospital stay grows more nerve-frazzling when memory loss distorts reality in our exclusive clip from This Tempting Madness, inspired by a true story.
The mind-bending psychological thriller will be released in select theaters and on demand on June 12 via Vertical.
Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) stars as Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality.
In This Tempting Madness, “Mia awakens from a coma grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions, and her perception of reality.”
Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.
“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”
Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.
Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (Heretic, The Blackening).
This Tempting Madness is rated R for “language, violence/bloody images, and brief sexuality.”
