Syfy has given a series order to the fantasy drama “Dominion,” derived from the awful 2010 feature Legion (review), reports Variety.
The supernatural vehicle is set in the futuristic year 25 A.E. and revolves around battles between good and evil angels in what used to be Las Vegas. The project has a genre-friendly ensemble cast that includes Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale.
Vaun Wilmott wrote the pilot for Universal Cable Prods. and Bold Films. Legion helmer and co-writer Scott Stewart directed the Dominion pilot in Cape Town, South Africa, where the series will be shot as well.
