This one I struggled with, mostly because I don’t see it happening. Isolation will almost definitely have a competitive multiplayer and it will almost definitely be unable to keep most players interested in it for very long. It’s a shame that features like these are often tacked on in an effort to sell more copies, because they take away precious resources that could be better spent on improving the single-player offering.
If it’s decided that some form of multiplayer is required, I’d like to see co-op. However, if that is considered, it needs to be entirely optional. Take a page out of Dead Space 3’s book and please, for the love of all things good, don’t force a shoddy AI companion on me.
