Joe Johnston, who directed 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger as well as cult comic book movie The Rocketeer and Jurassic Park III, is in negotiations to direct Extinction, a sci-fi feature project set up at Good Universe, reports Heat Vision.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but it does “involve a man trying to save his family with an alien invasion figuring into the proceedings.”
David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are producing Extinction, which was written by Spenser Cohen.
