This is the third “Check Out This Band” I’ve written and I’m digging it. It gives me a chance to bring you bands that I’m personally impressed by, interested in, or simply just really enjoying. And for this edition I want to introduce you to Canadian progressive metal band The Kindred, who have their Sumerian Records debut album Life In Lucidity coming out February 25th (pre-order here). What I enjoy about these guys is that they have a lot of dynamics going on and they fully understand that they can have complexity so long as it doesn’t interfere with good songwriting.
