In a recent Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), Naughty Dog Creative Director Neil Druckmann was asked what the chances are that The Last of Us will see a sequel. His answer? “Right now I’d say it’s 50/50.” Whichever side of the fence you find yourself on, it looks like this is something they’re still considering.
The Last of Us gets a lot of love here on Bloody Disgusting. The game received a rare perfect score in Vikki’s review, and we even included it in our list of the last generation’s greatest games. It’s a beautiful and often emotional game that you won’t soon forget. With that said, I don’t think it needs a sequel.
