Sexy starlets Paz de la Huerta (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” Enter The Void) and Katrina Bowden (TV’s “30 Rock”) turn up the heat in the excellent thriller, Nurse (read our review), arriving on 3D Blu-ray (plus 2D Blu-ray and Digital HD UltraViolet), DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet) and Digital HD April 8 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.

The scintillating horror film about a nurse with a secret double life as a murderous vixen also stars Corbin Bleu and Judd Nelson.

Check out this exclusive special features clip in which the cast and crew, including Paz de la Huerta and Katrina Bowden, discuss the action in the film, its strong female leads, and some of the poor decisions made by the men in the film. It even has a few nice shots of Paz in lingerie.

By day, nurse Abby Russell (de la Huerta) lovingly attends to the patients at All Saints Memorial Hospital; by night, Abby prowls nightclubs, luring unfaithful men into dangerous liaisons. After Danni (Bowden), a young, sensitive nurse, joins the hospital staff, Abby pursues her friendship. But when the friendship turns to obsession, Danni spurns Abby, unleashing Abby’s fury and a rampage of terror.

Directed by Douglas Aarniokoski (Animals, The Day), who also co-wrote the film with David Loughery (Obsessed), Nurse comes packed with exclusive bonus materials including a “making of” featurette, a behind-the-scenes video where actors Katrina Bowden and Corbin Bleu film themselves on and off set to give us an inside look at the bloody, good fun they had while filming and an audio commentary with director Aarniokoski.

This Tempting Madness clip

A hospital stay grows more nerve-frazzling when memory loss distorts reality in our exclusive clip from This Tempting Madness, inspired by a true story.

The mind-bending psychological thriller will be released in select theaters and on demand on June 12 via Vertical.

Simone Ashley (“Bridgerton”) stars as Mia, who awakens from a coma, grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions and her perception of reality.

In This Tempting Madness, “Mia awakens from a coma grievously injured, her memory fractured. As she puts the pieces of her past together, she starts to question her own actions, and her perception of reality.”

Jennifer E. Montgomery makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with director of photography Andrew Davis, inspired by Montgomery’s first-hand experience with tragedy involving her best friend.

“Months before the incident, there were signals that her world was unraveling,” says Montgomery. “I could feel the pressure building, though I didn’t know what form it would take. I never could have known what violence would come, and I certainly never imagined making a film about it.”

Austin Stowell (“NCIS: Origins”), Suraj Sharma (Happy Death Day 2U), Mojean Aria (Reminiscence), Amol Shah (“For All Mankind”), and Zenobia Shroff (“Ms. Marvel”) round out the cast.

Smoke Jumper Films and Mango Monster Productions produce in association with Catchlight Studios (HereticThe Blackening).

This Tempting Madness is rated R for “language, violence/bloody images, and brief sexuality.”
