High Tension director Alex Aja has apparently returned to horror greatness with Horns, which had its premiere last September at Toronto International Film Festival. Bloody Disgusting’s Mike Pereira was a huge fan – read his review here – calling it “an audacious, wonderfully twisted romantic horror fantasy.”
Dimension and RADiUS-TWC acquired the film out of the fest, but has yet to set a release date. While will roll our eyes, the UK will be receiving the Daniel Radcliffe-starrer on October 31. Hopefully TWC sets a release date soon and doesn’t shelf it like Livide…
In the film, “After being blamed for the death of his longtime girlfriend (Temple), a small-town guy (Daniel Radcliffe) awakens one morning to find a pair of horns growing from his head.”
Max Minghella, Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, Kelli Garner and James Remar also star in the film.
