Syfy recently gave a series order to the fantasy drama “Dominion,” derived from the awful 2010 feature Legion.
Hell will invade Earth Thursday, June 19, on Syfy (9-10 pm Et/Pt).
“‘Dominion’ is an epic supernatural drama set in the year 25 A.E. when an army of lower angels, assembled by the archangel Gabriel, has waged a war of possession against mankind.”
The series stars Christopher Egan, Tom Wisdom, Roxanne McKee, Alan Dale, Anthony Stewart Head and Luke Allen-Gale.
Vaun Wilmott wrote the pilot for Universal Cable Prods. and Bold Films. Legion helmer and co-writer Scott Stewart directed the Dominion pilot in Cape Town, South Africa, where the series is currently being shot.
