Upon doing so, you might have noticed the giant headline that reads, in big blocky text to ensure that nary a passersby misses it, ‘GAMING AS ADDICTIVE AS HEROIN’.
If that’s the case, I’m surely too far gone.
According to CVG, which spotted the tabloid’s grand claims, the article in question kicks off with the assertion that “Britain is in the grip of a gaming addiction which poses as big a health risk as alcohol and drug abuse.”
As for The Sun’s source? These lies come from Dr. Aric Sigmin, who’s also claimed that using social media sites can increase your risk of getting cancer.
