Bloody-Disgusting has teamed up with dark dubstep artist Moth to bring you the exclusive video premiere for “Antichrist”! Using footage from Uwe Boll’s surprisingly solid film Rampage, the track also uses quotes from Christopher Walken’s character in True Romance, Vincenzo Coccotti. You can watch the video below.
Moth explains the video, saying:
The song “Antichrist” stood most out to me for a video. Hearing the movie samples and the pace of the music helped determine how to attack the idea. I really wanted something that would be fast paced and that I could have quick cuts from kill after kill. That movie delivers all those aspects. Having the beat of the music to gun shot of the clip really brings out what Antichrist really is.
“Antichrist” comes from the upcoming Abducted Records album Genesis, which comes out July 14th on Beatport.
Moth comments:
When I was a kid I saw Return of the Living Dead and the opening theme always disturbed me. Out of habit I try to give my music a similar mood and the melody in the song is inspired by it, despite that movie’s quite awful and comedic.
