‘Cargo 3’ Feels a Bit Like ‘Dead Space’ Meets ‘Doom’
Looking at this trailer for the action horror game Cargo 3, I can’t help but be reminded of the first time I found myself surrounded by Necromorphs while aboard the USG Ishumura, or when all hell broke loose, literally, while exploring the UAC research facility. It’s a first person shooter/brawler where you’re trapped on a cargo ship that’s infested with all sorts of hellish creatures. It might not be the most original setting, but it certainly look fun.
Cargo 3 was among the latest batch of titles to get greenlit on Steam — you can find the full batch of approved games over here.

The sci-fi thriller heads to Digital and VOD on July 10, 2026.

The film comes from writer-director William Woods and stars Constance Wu, Mark O’Brien, William Fichtner, Callista Crowe, Isaac Smelcer-Zhang, Oscar Hsu, and Murray Furrow.
Maddy Falle, Albert Shin, and Allison White produce. Executive producers include Rob McGillivray, Ben Stranahan, Tom Spriggs, John Hansen III, Patrick Vipond, Jared Blaichman, Jonah Blaichman, and Randall Okita.
