Rumored to have both witches and ghosts, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 will sail into theaters July 7, 2017, Walt Disney Studios announced, reports Variety.
This time, Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow will battle the supernatural. The sequel is said to be titled “Dead Men Tell No Tales”, which is an uber cool reference to the rides at Walt Disneyworld and Disney Land!
Hopefully it brings the franchise back to its roots with Gore Verbinski’s absolutely astounding 2003 Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
The Pirates movies have made $3.7 billion at the global box office.
