For the most part, Alien: Isolation is Amanda Ripley’s story. It’s her tale of survival against all sorts of horrors, including a lone xenomorph that aims to hunt poor Ripley down. If you’re a fan of the franchise, when I say Ripley, your mind undoubtedly goes to Ellen Ripley, the original Ripley, made iconic by the supremely talented Sigourney Weaver way back in 1979.
If that’s the case, you’ll want to watch this new video. In it, the cast from the original film, including Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt (Dallas), Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), and Yaphet Kotto (Parker) chat about the game.
They’ll be appearing in the two bonus “Nostromo” missions DLC, which will be made available for free to those who preorder the game and to everyone else at a later date.
Alien: Isolation hits PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on October 7.
