The Title
Yeah, I know, I’m grasping. You try and write a longform feature about a game we know next to nothing about!
I do find the title intriguing. There are numerous mentions throughout the demo of multiple fathers going mad and killing their families. This leads me to believe that the darkness that permeates Silent Hill is growing, its influence expanding. Usually, it’s one person who gets lured by the foggy town’s siren call, but that may be changing with this game. I could be looking too far into that, but it’s where my mind immediately went after seeing the title.
At least we’re not getting another generic numbered installment or something with a tired subtitle, like pretty much every game after Silent Hill 3. That’s progress, right?
