In 2010, Visceral Games brought us Dante’s Inferno, a video game based on Dante Alighieri’s 14th-century epic poem. The game was a bit repetitive, but the visuals were creative and sometimes even horrifying. I enjoyed it, for the most part, despite its flaws.
Tal Peleg, I think, may have enjoyed it more than I did. Tal’s a senior cinematic animator at developer Naughty Dog. He’s also a huge fan of the game, and to prove it Tal went and created an extremely impressive short film based on the game titled Dante’s Redemption. At just two minutes, this short will definitely leave you wanting more.
