After a bit of a slow start, Deep Silver is finally giving their popular zombie franchise the attention it deserves. Of the three wildly different Dead Island games we have to look forward to is Escape Dead Island, an adventure game that aims to inject the series with some cel-shaded mystery. It follows Cliff Calo, a guy who’s been blessed with a catchy name and an eagerness to find out what caused the zombie outbreak on the island of Narapela.
Escape Dead Island arrives on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 18. Consider it an appetizer for Dead Island 2 that’s expected to arrive in “early” 2015.
