It’s been a while since we last heard from the retro survival horror game Catequesis. The game is very much an homage to old school horror and the glorious age of 8-bit that should appeal to a very specific audience comprised of gamers who have been playing horror games since the beginning. Quite a bit of love is going into it too, even the cutscenes are being hand-drawn by the developer, lending it a personal touch that’s missing from so many video games these days.
In the video below we’re treated to a brief walkthrough that shows off where the game is now. Even in it’s unfinished state, there’s no denying that Catequesis has come a long way since we last heard from it. This is one to watch.
