The incredibly creepy 2D survival horror game Silence of the Sleep has finally arrived on Steam, making it the first new horror release of the month. I hate comparing such a unique game to something else, because this atmospheric gem of a game easily stands on its own, but it really does resemble what I imagine a 2D Silent Hill might be like.
Silence of the Sleep is impressive, and it also happens to be the work of one man, who handled everything from the animation, art, coding, music and marketing. I spent some time with its demo back in April; feel free to use it as a sampling of what this game has to offer.
