I’ve made no secret here that I’m consistently blown away by the work of director Phil Mucci, who has released some of the most inventive music videos of this generation. His videos are simply badass, featuring psychedelic colors and violent yet engaging story lines. I’ve heaped praise upon him each time he releases a video and I stand by my word every single time.
What’s great is that it looks like I’m not alone in this recognition as the Housecore Horror Film Fest is paying tribute by hosting “A Fistful Of Acid”, an event that showcases all of Mucci’s music videos, including the theatrical debut of his latest vision, Monster Magnet‘s “The Duke”. The event will be presented by Mucci himself who will be joined by producer/actor Ian Mackay and attendees will receive free posters and other swag.
The event takes place October 26th at 5pm at Die-35 in Austin, TX.
