Huntress’ New Video is a Love Letter to Italian Vampire Films!

Today marks the release of Static, the new album from thrash metal band Huntress, and what better way to celebrate than with a new video from the insane mind of Phil Mucci?

“Sorrow” tells the tale of a group of people, including Mucci’s frequent collaborator Ian Mackay, who go to a gothic castle to perform a seance in an attempt to raise the head vampiress, played by Jill Janus. The seance works and things swiftly go to hell, no pun intended.

As usual, Mucci has crafted a beautiful and delightful video, this one paying homage to Italian horror films of the 70’s and 80’s. It’s packed to the brim with splashes of blood, stakings, and even an evisceration. What more could you want?

Pick up your copy of Static via iTunes.
