While it’s truly fantastic that all these horror scores are getting remastered and reissued, there is a bit of a void when it comes to anime scores. Enter Tiger Lab Vinyl, a boutique record label that focuses on “Cult Anime Soundtracks and beyond.”
The label has announced that it will be releasing composer Osamu Shoji‘s soundtrack to the 1987 neo-noir horror anime Wicked City on vinyl. According to Tiger Lab, the “…LP will have all new and original artwork. The masters came directly from composer Osamu Shoji!”
There is no official word yet on the release date, but we’ll be keeping an eye out and an ear open for more news.
