“Game of Thrones” Star Joins ‘The Bad Batch’
Jason Momoa is my favorite actor in “Game of Thrones,” and I would love to see him in more stuff.
While we will catch him as Aquaman in Batman v Superman, TheWrap is reporting that he is in negotiations to star in Ana Lily Amirpour’s dystopian love story The Bad Batch, which is a co-production between Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures and Vice.
Described as a cross between The Road Warrior and Pretty in Pink, The Bad Batch is a post-apocalyptic tale set in a Texas wasteland where a community of cannibals reside. The film is a love story about a cannibal (Momoa) and his food.
Annapurna’s Megan Ellison will produce alongside Vice’s Danny Gabai and Sina Sayyah. Vice’s Shane Smith and Eddy Moretti will executive produce the film, which Annapurna executive Sammy Scher will oversee on behalf of the company.

‘Night Nurse’ Trailer Teases Psychosexual Thrills and Paranoia in a Retirement Home
Compulsion and vocation blur to a dangerous degree in the psychosexual trailer for neo-noir Night Nurse.
Independent Film Company will release Night Nurse on July 10, 2026.
In the film, “At the start of her new job in a luxury retirement community, Eleni (Cemre Paksoy) is drawn into a series of scam calls targeting the elderly residents, a pull she can’t quite name or resist. As the community’s strange rhythms close around her, she grows increasingly intimate with her elusive patient, Douglas (Bruce McKenzie), until the line blurs between care and desire, devotion and delusion.”
Mimi Rogers (Ginger Snaps) also stars in Night Nurse.
Georgia Bernstein makes her feature debut as writer and director.
She also produced the film with Edwin Linker, Liane Cunje, Veronica Barbosa, and Lucy Rogers. Executive producers include Eddie Linker, Eric Ashworth, Stephen Lanus, and Amar Gupta.
Watch the trailer below and look for the psychosexual thriller next month.
