It may feel like our obsession with the caped crusader in film is a new one. But thanks to vimeo user Jacob T. Swinney, we can realize that the history of this character on the silver screen goes much further back than we can remember. Jacob created The Evolution of Batman in Cinema and posted it to Vimeo. As you’ll see in the video, 72 is a lot of years, and a lot of men under the cowl.
